Weird Kids

Two out of the three children in my house were weird tonight.

First 2010 Indoor Soccer Game... sorta

Jared had his first soccer game today but the other team forfeited so they did a scrimmage between each other.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a lot of fun but Asher was not feeling very well. He had an ear infection that was making his miserable.

D & R's Birthday Party

Asher went to another birthday party today and had so much fun. At Fun4Tots they have a little train he can ride on. Boy, did he love that!

Honor Roll Princess

We are so proud of Tyler! She started middle school and has found her way around. She did amazing in her classes and made it on the honor roll! I got to attend a Honor Roll Breakfast. It was so great to be there with her.

Family Turkey Project

Jared brought home a project for Thanksgiving. It's a family turkey project. I call this the "Mom, I want you do help me be the most creative kid in the class." project. Jared wanted his turkey to wear clothes. And God forbid we just color clothes onto the turkey. No, we must take some of his brother's old clothes and cut them up and hot glue them on. We means me though. I had to make a template for all the darn feather parts plus the shirt and pants. Jared did color the other parts of the turkey and glue with me. All in all, it was very cute and I loved his idea and it was surely out of the box. The end product was exactly what he wanted.

Button Cakes

My friend Julie is expecting her first grandchild. She asked me to make the cakes for the baby shower for Brittany and Alex. The invitations had these cute pink buttons on them and I was told that the mom was planning on pink and brown for the nursery. I made four cakes and each had a different flavor combo. They were yummy!

Turkey Hats

My friend Amanda hosted a craft playdate and the kids made these cute turkey hats. Of course I don't have a picture of him actually wearing it because that would involve him screaming and taking it off.

Isn't the baby supposed to stay the baby? He is sitting at the big table, in a big chair with no booster. Now he wants his own special big boy cup and plate. I'm so not ready for this, someone lied to me!

Weekend full of parties!

The kids and I went to two first birthday parties this weekend! We had so much fun and glad we were invited to be apart of the celebrations! Happy 1st Birthday E & M!

Toothless Bobbing

Jared went to a birthday party today. He and the birthday boy (one of his best friends) were the only ones to catch some apples. However, they are both missing their front teeth. We thought they may not get any but Jared figured out some way.

I found this awesome deal on craigslist for this rare car. Asher loves it and now Jeremy and I are sort of regretting it. Can you see why?

We went to our friend Heather's (and her adorable baby Makena) house and made some Halloween cupcakes. It was so much fun!

Cooperstown Field Trip

I went with Tyler's team to Cooperstown today. It was so much fun and very tiring. We had a great time at the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Farmer's Museum!
